Stuck, or found something that isn't right? In the game, open Settings and tap Write to us: your note comes straight to us with the game's version and your phone's model, and you can add your email if you'd like a reply. Or write to [email protected]; tell us your phone's model and what happened, and a screenshot helps a lot. We read every message and reply as soon as we can.
Where is my game saved?
On your phone, in the game's own storage. It saves by itself as you play and whenever you leave the game, and your phone's backup keeps a copy (see below). There's no account to sign in to.
Can I move my reef to a new phone?
On Android, yes, through your phone's own backup. If backup is on in your phone's settings (it usually is), your reef is backed up to your Google account about once a day, and it comes back when you install Deep Bloom again from Google Play or set up a new phone from that backup. The last few hours of play may not be in it yet. On iPhone, your reef moves with an iCloud or computer backup of the whole phone. Keeping your reef by signing in, on any phone, is on our list.
How do I turn reminders on or off?
Open Settings in the game (the small button under the counters) and switch notifications on or off. You can also change them in your phone's settings for Deep Bloom.
My chest is full. What do I do?
Tap the chest to sell things you don't need, or make it bigger there. Nothing is ever lost: a full chest only waits to be emptied.
Something is greyed out or asleep
Parts of the old harbour sleep until you restore their ruin, and some things open at a later level. Tap anything grey to see what it needs. The Storybook, bottom left, explains how everything works.
Does it cost anything?
Deep Bloom is free to download and play. You can buy Sea Glass if you'd like to, and watch an ad for a small reward when the game offers one; both are always your choice, and you never have to pay to keep going.
Your data
See the privacy page. In short: no accounts, your game stays on your phone, and the anonymous usage data can be turned off in Settings.
